Hp Server PSU VS Consumer ATX PSU
In this video I have a look at a HP Server PSU vs a typical shopper grade atx psu and see how they carry out when crypto mining.

how do i run 240v Parallel Mining if i have 120V from the wall? i'm in usa
which is better?
Hello. Would describe how loud are these server psu are in under load? Also can you use a 6 pin to dual 8 pin cable to power a gpu that needs a dual 8 pin?
I've been looking into these with the price of ATX power supplies going through the roof…the one thing that concerns me is the noise level from the server power supply….I didn't notice the noise in your video..did you use a type of audio filter when making the video?…I could probably handle the noise as long as they aren't screaming like i've heard from ASIC's in the RedPanda video's lol…I wonder about making some kind of sound deadening box for the server power supply?(obviously not wanting to limit airflow is a major concern…Thanks for the video's and keep up the great content.
Nice I'm using antminer power supply know
nice video, i learn a lot. maybe if u compare risers too, with oters version, the watts ussage changes.
Hello rabid mining please do a video on how to install and setup hive OS , thankyou
Hello rabid mining, how you doing bro?
I had the same results. at low wattage these PSUs have lower efficiency, but at 600w-900w+ they are at their best efficiency. if you search your exact HP 1200w psu model, there are spec sheets showing the curve and what wattage to run them at.
at low wattage, normal ATX psu is better but it would be good to see a comparison where you load the PSUs at 800w load.
Thank you! I picked up a few of these 1200w HP psus with the black color plug, i just ordered two with the blue plug which is supposed to be a higher efficiency than the black plug.
Keep these info loaded videos coming.
